LMF develops mobile compressor unit to transfer natural gas from lines
To minimize gas emissions in advance of repair work on pipelines is a demand for innovative solutions to preserve the natural gas contained usable. Instead of the usual blow-off or flaring in the atmosphere, the pipeline pressure may be reduced by means of the described Evacuation Unit to a residual pressure of about 7 bar. This reduces the emission of greenhouse gases by 88 % while saving the gas value.
