Long distance transmission pipelines (> 3000 km, operative pressure > 12 MPa) for large volumes transportation [1, 2]) turning out as competitive option for "gas to market" together with high performance materials (HSS-> X80,X100 pipeline steels), advanced design tools, efficient construction equipments.
