This second part of the two-part paper presents the experimental verifications of the simulation model developed in the first part for an approximated determination of free surfaces of molten metal steady flows in electromagnetic fields [1]. The calculated results are compared to measurements performed in several laboratory setups for a large frequency range, between 50 Hz and 30 kHz. Thus, applicability and generality of the model were tested for different values of the electromagnetic field penetration depth and also for the different free surface profiles of the various molten metal flows inductively driven in mono- or rotational three-phase magnetic fields. The computational results show a good agreement with the experimental data.
