The generation of endothermic gas for use in thermal or thermochemical processes is still widespread and popular. Whether this can be maintained in the future under increasingly volatile natural gas conditions is recently being more often put in question. Traditional endothermic gas generators are causing more often operating problems as they are not always well suited to deal with volatile natural gas conditions. Effective counter measures are necessary and well possible. An analysis tool (analysis simulation program) will be introduced, which enables exact pre-determination of parameter settings and will allow prognosis of endothermic gas analysis to be expected based on a particular given natural gas analysis as well as other conditioning gases.
