All the furnace technology for the new steel complex built by Big River Steel in the U.S.A. was supplied by SMS group. This means all know-how for all heating and cooling processes along the entire process chain comes from a single source, ensuring maximum material quality. All furnaces have meanwhile been commissioned and are operating successfully.
