Sustainability, i.e. the conservation of raw materials, has emerged in recent years as the central theme of business and production from the point of view of climate neutrality. In the manufacture of machinery and equipment, for example, sustainability requires reusable parts and components and rechargeable batteries. The goal derived from this is therefore to manufacture machines and systems that do not require a new purchase when they wear out. In addition, energy consumption plays an important role both for the manufacture and for the operation of these machines and systems. It should be as low as possible and only as high as necessary. Under the aspect of a comprehensive and long-term sustainability management, the energy consumption of the machines and the emissions of the processes in companies are documented.
