Use of power-to-gas for the reduction of renewable energy curtailment

With increasing amounts of renewable electricity being generated a higher percentage is being lost due to the electrical network limitations and supply exceeding demand. In many cases the gas network is ideally placed to capture, store and transport this otherwise lost green energy, decreasing the CO2 footprint of the gas network and making best use of already existing assets.
